Give birth feeling confident, connected, and empowered with the support of a doula by your side.
Birth Support
I’m here to guide and support you on your unique journey. This is your birth, your body, and your baby. Whether you decide to birth at home, in a hospital, or birthing center, I will be right beside you. If you are hoping for an entirely unmedicated birth or already know you want medicated pain relief or a cesarean delivery, I’m here for you. I am committed to providing non-judgmental support in both your pregnancy and birth.
My role is to educate and support so that you and your partner feel confidence, clarity, and a strengthened bond. While doulas do not provide medical care, I do provide emotional and physical support for families by using techniques that focus on position, touch, massage, relaxation and breathing.
I act as your advocate and promote self-advocacy by helping you formulate questions for your medical team so that you are comfortable making informed decisions about your medical care. I will be a calming presence by your side to listen and reassure you.
Leading up to your birth, we will discuss your ideal labor and delivery plan so you feel empowered and informed. During your birth, I will be an emotional and physical support to you and your partner and help you advocate to achieve as many of your birthing goals as possible.
When you reflect on your birth experience, I hope you will remember it as a time where you exemplified strength, made informed decisions, and felt fully supported. I hope you look back with happiness.
